Judy Bowman Update
Wheel Power Mission Trip - August-September 2009
Greetings from home: Lynchburg, Virginia! Thank you for your prayers and partnership with me on this mission trip I just completed.
I wanted to let you know I arrived home safely and slept 10 hours my first night, hallelujah!!! It is good to be home to see my family and friends and of course Pedals was delighted to be able to run in and out of her doggie door. I am so thankful for all of God's blessings and seeing old friends and making new friends. God was so good watching over and protecting me, blessing me with safety and a wonderful time with everyone I saw.
He used me to lead 15 people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. I also personally shared the Gospel with about 85 people, one on one, planting the seeds and watering others that had been planted. There are so many lost, hurting, and searching people out there, we as Christians must GO & TELL.
It was also such a special blessing to be back to visit God's people and speak at many former host churches and small groups as well as encourage Christians I met everywhere to share their faith.
In summary, my 17-day, 3,850 mile journey was a glorious trip of faith to proclaim the majesty of the Lord and spread the love of Jesus to everyone I met. The new "WHEELS" and camper were like a magnet that drew people to me and then I was able to tell them about the Lord. So I thank YOU for being a part of this journey with me. Your prayers, love, support, and encouragement spurred me on - to God be the Glory, great things He has done!
