Elijah Baker

Baker was arrested and put in jail in Accomack County in 1778 for preaching. When he was released a group kidnapped him ahd placed him aboard a ship with orders to the captain to get him away from the area where he preached. Many say he was literally "shanghaied" for the Lord.
